FEI, the Albertson's at 1270 Broadway in Placerville opened as Lucky in March 1961.

Is this location the oldest still operating as Albertsons. By the oldest I mean Lucky Store location.

Oldest unremodeled maybe, but the Lucky at 5600 Folsom Blvd. in Sacramento was listed at least as far back as the 1960 city directory.

This store, still open as Save Mart, has some large blow ups of their grand opening ads and ground breaking ceremony from the local newspaper archives now posted on some coolers above the 3 beverage department endcaps.

Pretty sure those weren't there a few years ago when I last went into this store.

Otherwise beyond the wall repaint into Save Mart wall decor, there has been no capex on this store since the mid 90's when ASC Lucky gave it new flooring, new refrigeration, and new checkstands.
