I was going through some old photos and came across this one I took in 2003. It was a great store, well-preserved from (I assume) it's mid-1960s roots. I'm just wondering if it's a chain prototype or was always an independent. Anyone with ideas?

I saw a picture of this store somewhere a couple months ago but for the life of me I can't remember where. I do remember the overhead sign being cool, and I hope you took a picture of that. You can barely see it on the local.live.com views.
All I could find in the Times archive is that in October 1959 a store at that address was robbed but the name of the store isn't given. A store clerk was assaulted and in the news report his home address is given (!!!) The only reference to "Big G Market" is a few Cergro ads in 1985.
