Woolworth Express
Remember Woolworth Express 1988-1990's? This was a small scale shopping mall version of a Woolworth store.

Summit Place Mall had a Woolworth Express for a while. How was Woolworth Express different from regular Woolworth? Just a smaller scale store?

Of course, plenty of malls had regular full scale Woolworths too.

Why wasn't the Woolworth Rx (pharmacy) concept rolled out to other stores? Foot Locker (formerly Venator) did the opposite of CVS corp by divesting its variety and pharmacy operations and keeping specialty stores.

Before their 1993-1994 demise some Woolworth Express stores became Woolworth Outlet Stores.
