1970s Oregon location, not sure exactly where:

Here's a location I THINK somewhere in the Seattle area (the person who put this up has a Seattle image collection) with 1970s lettering, possible pylon-era store, and I keep thinking I've put a link to this one before here:

I think this is the store in Astoria, OR:

Speaking of the Cedar Hills store and its pylon, those photos actually tie in nicely with one of Roadsidepictures' shots, of a Safeway sewing needle package from the 1950s:

The design similarity between that and the Cedar Hills pylon is striking...as Roadsidepictures himself noted...
It's a flat parallelogram...I believe Safeway made it look like the pylon sign they used at the time.
I haven't seen another photo of a store with that pylon text-and-logo arrangement though...

Earlier, I mentioned a closed Marina on 540 Pacific Boulevard, "somewhere in Oregon", which had an photo up on Google Images...
Here's the Google Maps overhead of it, apparently still sadly abandoned. It's in Albany, OR, on Route 99E (the former US highway).

Beautiful night shot of a closed marina somewhere in Oregon, anyone know exactly where this location is?

The appearance of this particular specimen (with the angled side walls and the rising, curved marina wings) is very similar to the Fulton Avenue store in Sacramento (now Tognotti's).
Here's a shot of the front entrance to the two-story Safeway in Portland:

Meanwhile, I wonder if the gable in one of the earlier posts in this thread, from Leavenworth, WA, got remodeled into this:

Here's an interior of a marina in Puyallup, WA:

Judging from this Live Local overhead, it seems to be the location at 611 S Meridian:
