While I cannot help you on how old this store is or where it's at, its exterior does look unique for its time, though. My first guess would have been the Jons store that is on Glenoaks (since you can see the hills in the background), but looking at the bing maps birdseye view, you can see this store was a marina store, that was openend prior to 1972

The store in the picture was actually in Pacific Palisades on Swathmore near Sunset. I grew up near it. It is now a CVS.
