They will be reopening as "Dollar General Stores".

I'm sure that will be the end for the almost completely intact (or at least it was a couple of years ago) 1950s Safeway interior at the Charter Way store. It would be great if someone could get by and get some really good high-resolution shots of all that interior signage before it's gone. It's really quite a sight.

Actually I should have posted "Plus Brentwood!!!" not "Oakley" as the Oakley and Lodi (Apple Marketplace) locations will remain.

it's been Confirmed, the Oakley One is Closing in Janruary 2013, Dollar General was going to be Putting One of their Dollar Market Stores there, But when they Wanted to put Just A Regular dollar General in the Building, The City Pulled out and is Now Looking at Moving The Local Library Branch There.
