An ad from the September 1960 edition of Chain Store Age (page 149) shows this market. I wonder if it was connected to the Broadway Market that operated the Millbrae Square store (that later was QFI and is now Office depot) - since this is "Bouskos Brothers Broadway Market," I'm thinking this was a franchise operation. Also not sure where this location was...

I cannot help but think about how similar this looks to the Yard Birds at 66 Admiral Gallaghan Ln. in Vallejo featured on Pure Grocery Stores a while back;

Although, as stated on Pure Grocery Stores, the Yard Birds was a Shopper's World discount store at least as far back as the late 1960s. But, I suppose the building could have originated as Broadway Market, if it didn't last long. Maybe someone else knows better. Whether or not the Yard Birds was originally this Broadway Market, it sure is a nice find anyway!. The exterior AND the interior architecture are nearly entirely original, and one notable feature is the original green terrazzo floor throughout.

Now that you mention it...that wavy awning DOES remind me of Yardbirds. Hmm.
