Gable roofed Safeway

I was driving through the city of Ventura California the other day and noticed a gable roofed Vons, maybe late sixties early seventies. I was wondering has anyone ever seen a Vons or Safeway with a gabled roof?
It was very similar to the former Pollocks Pines Safeway.

If you are referring to the store at Seaward Avenue and the Ventura Fwy., that location was a former Thriftimart. Safeway aquired this unit in the mid 80's, then Vons with the rest of the So. California Safeways in 1988.
I have seen several gable roof Safeways; there is one in Santa Barbara at Victoria and Chapla which was discussed on this board a while back.
