Message board issues (again)

More problems, this time less about bots themselves but a misconfigured bot mitigation tool at my webhost (who generally does a really good job so I'm not complaining too much) following a server migration.
It's back up now, but I have thoughts on the future:

Sorry if that seemed a little negative. It was a bad day and tech let e down on several fronts.
Thinking out loud, I'd obviously rather see the board continue to accept new posts, etc., but I just don't think the interest is out there anymore. And again, it's becoming a major pain to keep it up and running, particularly for very little traffic. Thus it's not my top priority.
Just for the record, the main site (which IS my top priority) is doing fine. It's even growing, and I'm definitely not thinking of letting that go dormant. I don't have specific plants to let the board do so either. But I'd be lying if I said I were optimistic about the future.
