This commercial aired in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is part of the "Safeway - America's Favorite Food Store" advertising campaign.
It features three Safeway employees associated with "San Jose": Al Chenowetch, Lorna Rolph, and Steve Cabral. Presumably the advertisement was shot in a San Jose Safeway store. I can't figure out if the decor is from the late 1970s or early 1980s, but the "department" signs on the walls are written all in lower case type. The employee uniforms appear to be brown. A chalkboard is used for seafood department signs (but that might've been just a prop for this commercial).
