Fiftieth Anniversary: Downtown Livermore, Calif. Safeway Store at 1554 First Street

Fifty years ago today, on Sunday, September 14, 1975, the downtown Livermore, Calif. Safeway store moved to a new building at 1554 First Street. That store remains in operation today.
That store building was significantly expanded in the year 2000, to the west.
Attached is a newspaper advertisement touting the new store. It appeared in the "Tri-Valley Herald" on Sept. 11, 1975, p. 7, among other places.
