For some reason, I was thinking about this place. It was a small chain, I believe they existed from the late 70s into the 90s, and as I recall, were primarily located in the Mojave Desert. I seem to recall locations in Baker, Barstow, and, I vaguely remember one location in Needles. The restaurant was a sit-down family restaurant, similar to Denny's or Bob's Big Boy. I do recall eating there a few times, while traveling with my mom to either visit my grandparents in Topock, Arizona, or to visit Laughlin, Nevada or Las Vegas.

I thought Bun Boy was just the old Big Boy in Baker that got a new name (and owner) with Big Boy having moved down the street.
