I couldn't find a locations list for this one.
This Dollar Tree used to be a grocery store known as Sav-U-Foods, but what was it originally?
The sign reminds me of Alpha-Beta for some reason
Google street view of the store (as Dollar Tree):

You might want to check that link. It goes to a Google spreadsheet (that requires access permission) rather than a Street View.

Housed two local chains starting about 1952: originally Owen's Market (and yes, the apostrophe is where it's supposed to be) and Pix Markets (early 1960s). It was a furniture store and a paint store after that and had numerous other grocery and non-grocery tenants. (All per newspaper archives,)

That Dollar Tree sign sure looks like an old Payless Drug sign... obviously that building wouldn't have been a Payless Drug of that era (way too small).Groceteria wrote: ↑06 Jun 2022 20:34 Housed two local chains starting about 1952: originally Owen's Market (and yes, the apostrophe is where it's supposed to be) and Pix Markets (early 1960s).
