Ah, Danville! I skimmed over the table and my first thought was, "Looks like a North Carolina-like mix of chains." Then I check the map, and the city literally borders North Carolina!
There's an intact Kroger greenhouse at 1350 W Main Street. Not too much in the way of good A&P artifacts, but there is a 1930s early-supermarket at 321 Lynn Street that looks built for the purpose. The best surviving relic might be the late-1950s Colonial at 120 Arnett Boulevard, which seamlessly blends into the early shopping centre it's a part of.
