Another day, another CSV to share: Brainerd, MN chain grocery/supermarket locations, 1927-59.
This is a small one, but Fargo is one of my favourite movies, so I had to do this.
And, some notes...
* The story behind the Jewel Tea Co. store in Brainerd is undoubtedly the same as that of the Grand Union store in Lansing. In the 1927 directory, it carries a "(tea)" disclaimer.
* In the 1920s and 1930s, there operated several "co-operative mercantile" stores similar to the one in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
* Washington Street NE was A Street in 1954 and earlier. (The map makes this obvious.)
