What store was this? Looks like old Safeway

Anybody know what this store is / was? This is a recent magazine ad for the Kia Sedona. I scanned it and cropped to show only the photo. My guess is that this is a former Safeway. Any guesses as to location, most recent operation, etc?

No location guesses, but it's definitely a former Safeway. And it's also been Photoshopped to within an inch of its life. The trees, etc, were added (and replaced part of the exterior of the store), the "Food" sign probably doesn't exist in reality, and notice that the beams inside are a little "off" vs. the exterior.
