Cost Less in Oakdale.

What supermarket was previously located in the building that currently houses Cost-Less Foods in Oakdale, CA? I know that there was a Thrifty Drugstore in the shopping center. There was also possibly a variety store or a discount store next to the Cost Less. To identify the location I know that there is a large stream/river next to the shopping center. The stream/river might be known as Whisky River. I am just guessing this is the name of the stream because of the nearby saloon.
