This site is a goldmine: http://www.showcase.com/property/1936-M ... nia/782198

Year built, 1968? Funny, I have heard 1962, 1968, and 1972 so far... 1968 seems most accurate. Is it possible the Dollarland (and Save-A-Lot) opened as soon as Acme moved out? This store had a whole different logo than the other Dollarlands. And when exactly did Dollarland close? All I know is they were gone by summer 2003. And does anyone notice any clues this was an Acme, not relying on a roof view?

See the side vents in this newer photo?: http://www.ameliasgroceryoutlet.com/woodlyn-b.jpg

Could they be left from Acme? These look like the vents found in 50's and 70's Acmes, but I am not sure about A Frames. Most A Frames had a "warehouse ceiling".

The Acme's opening date was 12/5/62 according to the opening dates I've received, and the Thrift Drug opened on 11/3/64 according to a Delco Times article; it's possible the rest of the shopping center was added on over time and completed by 1968.
