A&P in Verona, NJ?

Saw this mentioned elsewhere on the web that the Jeep dealership on Bloomfield Ave. was an Acme or A&P at one time, can anyone confirm that?

Hi, it been about thirty years, but the jeep dealership just migth be the old Safeway/Finast in Verona. I seem to remember that the building and lot became a car dealership. However Acme and A&P also had stores in town on Bloomfield Avenue.

The Jeep dealership was a pitched-roof/A-frame Acme. If you pull into the parking lot and look into the lobby added to the front of the building, you'll see remnants of the Acme's facade.
