The store in Fresh Meadows that's now a Korean grocer was a Waldbaums that closed in 1984. It became something else, then an Associated and is now the Korean store.

It's the store located at 196th St.

Thanks for the info. I've corrected the caption. According to an article I found, it was also a dollar store at some point, and Pathmark also wanted to build a new store on the site several years ago, but pulled out in the face of community opposition.
