Current Westside San Bernardino CA site is located at 1085 Highland Avenue. I assume built in '60s, as it has the same flavor of those built similarily in that time frame.

Noticed that in essentially a triangle, there are three (3) former market locations:

1675 Mount Vernon--currently San Bernardino Swap Meet
2050 Mount Vernon--currently Inghram Community Center
1680 Highland Avenue--currently Highland Lumber

I assume one (1) of these sites was replaced by the site listed above. I am leaning towards the 2050 Mount Vernon site.

1675 Mt. Vernon was a Safeway as of 1957. I couldn't find information on the other 2 addresses. The earliest list of Stater Bros locations I have is from 1973 and the 1085 Highland location is listed.

If something in San Bernardino shows up in the LA Times archive it's pure luck. Now if I had access to the SB Sun archive, that would be a different story.
