Safeway Marinas with Murals Instead of "Circle S" Markers

How long did Safeway utilize the trend of painted murals for their left and right entrance markers rather than using their "Circle S" logos?
I know their flagship Marina store on 15 Marina Blvd. in San Francisco, CA was one and their 1965 Lake Oswego, OR store on 401 "A" Ave. was another.
