Did any other chain grocer ever operate in this town? There appear to be a few independents that could have been something else in a past life. The Save Mart appears to have been there for quite a while... store 17.
Foodland used to operate in the shopping center across Hwy 180 from Save Mart. As I recall, they were one of the last Foodland's to operate in the area.
