this store prototype is a bit strange since i have never seen it anywhere but in this store! the store is completey white with each dept. signage in black/grayish cursve writing....is this a very old prototype...?? or is it from another store...?? i lived in the area as a child...and still pass by it every now and then and wonder about it...i know it wasnt a ralphs when i was younger...(i believe).....i think it may have been a Boy's Market protype. Anyone have any ideas...?

I can date this store back to 1948. I don't know if it opened as a Ralphs prior to that. It hasn't been remodeled since the LA riots of 1992 when the store was looted.
