Anyone remember 1980-1992 restaurant/video game chain ShowBiz Pizza Place which was a Chuck E. Cheese's rival until it's CEC takeover in 1991-1992? ShowBiz had its own animatronic show called The Rock-afire Explosion produced by Orlando, Florida based Creative Engeneering.

Yes, there used to be one in Fresno on Shaw & Marks until the merger. I vaguely remember it but, I'm sure there used to be one in Fresno.

Boise, Idaho used to have one of these on Fairview Avenue, and my parents took me there quite a few times. Not sure what is there today though. I think they used to call the animatronic show "Pizza Time Theater" or similar.

Oops...I got the two chains mixed up...but the restaurant in Boise was ShowBiz. I don't know if Boise at the time (mid 1980s) had a Chuck E Cheese also.
