I am about 85% that the store @ 2630 Bayshore was also a Liquor Barn at one point.

When I moved to SF in 1992, there was a liquor barn farther north on Bayshore, where it runs right next to 101. It's actually still there as a BevMo or was a little over a year ago.

Food4Less was operating 10 stores in addition to 30 Vivas,19 Boys, and 8 ABC Markets when it bought Alpha Beta from American Stores in 1991. Food 4 Less, was based in Highland Park, and formed in 1989 by Yucaipa.
