A/k/a the Portland suburb where they actually have sales tax (since it's in another state):

You can add Waremart to your list, as Vancouver was one of their early outposts. In December 1971, they built a store at 7110 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd. (Unusual in that most of their other stores back then were not new construction.) Four months later it was destroyed in the deadliest tornado in West Coast history -- five of the six people killed were in Waremart. A replacement store opened on the site in June 1973 and operated until 1985.

They came back in 1988 with a Cub Foods franchise at Vancouver Plaza (7809 N.E. Vancouver Plaza Drive). The Cub Foods name was dropped in favor of WinCo in 1998. It was replaced by the store at 2101 N.E. Andresen Road in 2008. Walmart ran a Neighborhood Market there from 2013 to 2019.

Keil's had a store at 7223 N.E. Fourth Plain, across from the original Waremart. They used the "Shop 'n Save" name from its opening in 1964 until 1967. The address changed from Fourth Plain to 2913 N.E. 72nd. Safeway took over in 1986.

The Albertsons at 11505 NE Mill Plain should actually be 11505 NE 4th Plain. This store was replaced by the Padden Parkway Albertsons location (also closed), the address of that one is 8300 NE 137th Avenue (which I do not see on the list)

The Albertsons at 14300 NE 20th Ave (Salmon Creek) rebranded to Safeway some time in the past year.

13023 Highway 99 (Also not on the list) is currently a Safeway, and was previously a Zupan's store, which also operated as Food Pavilion at one time. The original store was built in the 1970s but I don't remember if Safeway remodeled, or demolished and rebuilt this location when they moved in, I think early 2000s.

Thanks. These are updated. The Padden Pkwy location did not make the list because it was apparently only open between about 2003 and 2007, which was outside the range of the list. But I have added a note about it.

The Padden Parkway store actually closed in 2014, at the same time as the Albertsons at 5000 E. 4th Plain. Here is an article about it:

I may have misread the year on Google Streetview. I did a newspaper archive search on the address and references ended about 2007 as well, so maybe I over-assumed.
