Macy's Zipper Store In Stockton, California

Is anyone familiar with the Macy's store in Stockton next to Sherwood Mall? It's architecture is very unique. It looks like zippers on the side of the store. In fact, about 10 years ago, a Macy's official refered to this store as "Macy's Zipper Store". It was built in 1965, is there any other so called "Macy's Zipper Stores" in the U.S.?

Here is a link to a photo. It's got the 'new' logo, and from the cars you can tell it's a recent photo. To the best of my knowledge, it's the only one designed like this. The other mid 60's Macy's CA stores in Sacramento (1963), Concord (67) and Daly City (68) all look similar to each other, but none of them resemble Stockton (65)

Is the Daly City (Serramonte) location the only one that has the old lettering out front still?

The last time I was at Eastridge in San Jose, Macy's still had the old logo. But it's been a couple of years now.http://www.flickr.com/photos/41424429@N08/?saved=1
