Red & White is still very much around as a private label distributed by the Federated Group, a descendant of the original Flickinger operation. It waxes and wanes in popularity and is often found on commercial/foodservice items as well. It is touted on the Federated Group's website as their original national brand of over 80 years. There is a nice photo of a vintage Red & White store and some brand history mentioning the Flickinger founding. There are still a few Red & White stores around, though I don't think there is any aggressive organization like there once was. It is one of my personal favorites, so emblematic of its era's heyday.
