SuperValu selling all Connecticut Shaw's stores

Shaw's owner, SuperValu, out of Minneapolis, is selling it's entire 18 store Connecticut divisioon. Stop & Shop will purchase 5 stores. Eleven stores will be purchased by Wakefern which operates the PriceRite and ShopRite banners. There is currently no buyer for two stores. Shaw's had operated in Connecticut since 1995.
