Was Leonard's Department Store a chain and if so, where else did they have stores? There was one in Rowland Heights back in the 1960's on Colima near Fullerton. I heard from a friend of mine about TG&Y stores in the Los Angeles area.

I did a Google search and found that some locations still exist as supermarkets today.

Maywood is now Liborio Market (hispanic)
Sierra Way in San Bernardino is now Rio Rancho Market #8
Temple City is now Temple City Ranch Market
