Safeway on Kissena

She confirmed that there was a Safeway on Kissena Blvd in Flushing Queens that she would occasionally shop at in the early 1960's. I am a Waldbaums nut. The store your asking about was always a Waldbaums (it used to be #143). My memories start in the early 70s. Waldbaums had a bunch of stores with the curved roof. Shop Rite in Queens
