I think that there is a former supermarket building at the southwesterly corner of San Pablo Avenue and Tara Hills Drive in the Pinole area of Contra Costa County. IIRC, I haven't seen a photo of it in a while, but I recall a green-pylon Safeway still in operation in metro Denver as well.
