theres an albertsons in burbank that is relaly nice,....it has tvs in the produce section that gives u cooking ideas and everything....!! service deli and bakery are great...fresh and free samples! lol.....its a great store

ive seen 3 Albertsons that were former lucky stores and they still have the lucy interiors and same shelves.....they jus put the albertsons sign over all the luckys signs in the store....i think they remodeled one lucky store but I'm not for sure...the one on crenshaw and mlk blvd i think was remode...

very interresting!! theres a vons in redondo beach that has a dry cleaners and a smothie bar....i think the smoothie bar is independent tho....(didn't know safeway allowed that!) i beleive the store was built in 1997....its a big store....i wonder if they did a super pavilions....lol

and yes there still is a VONS on manchester...if it wa s a former super combo store, that would explain why its so abnormally huge!

so what happened to this concept...?? I'm assuming they were putting more money in then they were getting out...

the pavilions on santa monica and robertson used to be called a pavilions place and that store is pretty big....the one in torrance also is called pavilions place and its a decent size with a bakery and service deli....maybe the name "pavilions place" was only for certain areas...like uppe...

where was a williams bros. store located...? what type of store was it...?? upscale,middle class,etc....ive never heard of this chain buty i was reading a company profile and Vons and it mentioned they owned these williams bros. stores!! anyone have any info on this...???

Just to clarify the "Pavilions Place" name

the reason why Vons choose to name certain Pavilions stores "Pavilions Place" is because the pavilions place name was used for pavilions stores that where in a "mall center" with a lot of little stores surrounding it....sorta like a strip mall but bigger....
