old grocery stores in/near Denver, CO
Does anyone know of any old grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, e.t.c. in Colorado (preferably the Denver area) that are still in operation? Thanks

The Payless in Fremont at 39155 State St was in existence at least as far back as 1968 and open at least as late as 1995. The 21,500 square foot Safeway in downtown Monterey at 470 Munras Ave. opened in 1951, and is still more or less architecturally original.
