The store next to Kmart on East Sahara was built by Food Fair as a Pantry Pride. Later became a Smith's and then Pic N Sav.

The store on the Southeast corner of Rainbow was originally built by Safeway. When I moved here in 1985 it was one of a couple closed Safeway stores. A few years later Lucky's reopened and remodeled the store.

I was thinking Azusa \ Aroma, Asuza \ Rowland and North of the 10 on Grand in the Asuza Hills somewhere. Maybe not though...

Have you seen anything about Smith's 80's pre Lucky's buyout locations in your research? I remember 3 stores in the general area of West Covina. One which was a Marketbasket that Smith's actually first opened, south of the 10. Another which was a fairly new Marketbasket just north of the other store...

There aren't any logos on the Food Giant ad I copied for Las Vegas. Just says Food Giant Supermarkets. The 1000 Tonopah Hwy (Rancho) says formerly Faiman's Market.
