Greenbax stamps are still around they are a division of PigglyWiggly Carolina Co. PWCC just went from having the paper stamps to strictly electronic greenbax you can get with a PFC card.

Does anyone know what kind of POS system A&P uses and what happens to the old equipment?

Check http://www.findarticles.com , I think I am really not sure but I think INTERCO liqudated what was left of skycity in early 1991? Interco was sky city's parent company.

Do you think they will let you take some inside pictures of the closed store if you ask nicely and contact the landlord, saying your doing it for a retail history website?

When this store closed does it still have all the suppport equipment in it like the cash registers and the stands and the feeezers and ect. David when you visited this store, did you look throught the window and see if any of the equipment remained like the POS registers?

Does this store still have all the old equipment inside it like the pos registers and the check stands and the freezers and all the other equipment or was it sold when they closed and liqudated?
