yes, in Las Vegas, they built a Target at Decatur and Meadows, with a Mervyns across the street and a mall behind the Mervyn's is on land originally owned by Dayton Hudson. At Stephanie and Sunset there is also a Mervyns across the street from a Target, those two instances may be a coincidence, but ...

yeh, i don't think there building greatlands anymore, but there is a target near me that opened recently and it is larger than a regular target, with a grocery section and frozen foods, but it is not a greatland and with only one entry, i heard that is their new prototype...

are you saying the 1311 Wilshire store in Santa Monica was built in 1939?
I've been to that store and it is pretty big, it must've had some kind of expansion, plus it has a lifestyle remodel, it didn't seem that old...

this is how all the former sav-ons in las vegas looked when CVS was taking them over...a random white banner with CVS on them, it took them a long time to remodel the stores...and when they had CVS on the building at first, most of them were still Sav-ons on the inside...

the former rite aids in las vegas (besides the freestanding ones), from what i understand, were all former Pay Less's, they all had ice cream counters, and I believe most of them were remodeled or identical to the new freestanding ones...except for maybe the one on boulder hwy...

I don't know if you can venture out to the shore, but i know that there is a Shop Rite on 35 or 33 or whatever in Belmar or Deal or Wall, I can't remember which one, it looks exactly like a marina safeway...

8555 is at a more major intersection, but customers can tell when they are in a run-down Smith's (former Raley's/Albertsons) and when they are in an original Smith's...they have completely different layouts and offerings...

i'm sorry, you're right it is 9200 W Sahara, although the layout is awful, I guess it was underperforming because it was so close to the Smiths at 8555 and the Albertsons across the street, and original Smith's have great layouts...

Store # 371 8555 West Sahara Ave Las Vegas NV 89117 is now closed and I'm not sure why.

Fresh and Easy in Las Vegas has used a mixture of new builds and recycled stores...They have recycled some former Sav-Ons and they are buying some former Rite-Aids, but mostly new builds...
