Disco balls in supermarkets

I remember in the 1970's some supermarkets used to hang disco balls from the ceiling. Here in Lancaster we have a few remnants of this. The stores have changed hands and the balls still remain. Has anyone seen this before?

There is a Shakey's pizza in Lancaster one Palmdale CA. they both opened in the late 60's early 70's by the way I ate at the Palmdale one, yesterday.

There was a white Front in Burbank across from the airport on vanowen st. this location has been a Fry's Electronics since 1997. lockheed bought the building when white front closed in 1974.

The local Ralphs here in Lancaster had that interior when it first opened back in 1987 this store closed in 1996 and later reopened in 1999 completey remodeled.
