Food Fair

I recognized that design right away. At one time we had Food Fair stores in NE PA. One former Food Fair in Kingston Pa is now a Food Town.It still has that design but they filled in alot of the windows with wall.

Food Fair had established Delis in the N.E. AND the S.E. as early as the 1940's. In Florida, Fredrick's had Delis even before Food Fair. Publix followed Food Fair's lead, then Winn Dixie.

BTW, same goes with Service Seafood.

I totally understand and agree with you. As it goes with the giant Food Fair company, established in 1900. So powerful, so quickly and gone (1991) without a trace (except for an invisible exisitence inside Revlon Cosmetics).

Doesn't look quite that big to me. I'm guessing maybe 25K, tops. Note that the wing is actually a dry cleaner's store and not part of the Food Fair.

It's a quite beautiful store, though. Nice photo too.
