i remember that here in richmond we did have at least one pantry pride store it was at azalea mall, but it's history was verry complacated, the last i remember that it had been bought & sold so many times that i lost track so whats the real story about them, i mean a&p had them at one point ...

well in virginia just a little east of richmond it's about 20- 30 miles east of richmond , in i think providence forge, it's a fully preserved winn dixie superstore, but this was i think 2 years ago so it's probilly destroyed by now because it was comming apart when i last saw the store.

well your right on the hopkins road one but wrong on the kfc/a&w what i ment before that was rebuilt in it's first incarnation it was a burger chef.

hm the only locations that i can think of in virginia moth in richmond, no 1 was at medowdale blvd where a windy's is, & number 2 was on midlothian turnpike accross the road from books a million, it's curently a hybrid kfc/A&w store.

well there were some in virginia & in south carolina ok the one in virginia was at tanglewood mall in roanoke at well closed years ago, breafly becoming a would you belive a F A O outlet store, yep there first & last location in the south, & the one in south carolina was in myrtle beach ...

yes there's a couple of the old jack in the box sites in virginia well in richmond, there's two on the southside, the first one's near the old memco store on midlothian turnpike there's another one on west broad street about 2 miles from wollo lawn shoping center, & the third one's now a sheetz ...

oh dear god yes i do the only one i can remember just before they morphed into dennys is still in business in richmond va this one's on the west end on west broad street about a block or 2 from i64-west across the road from the corprate HQ for philip morris

there were a lot of wolco stores in virginia along with the locations already mentioned there was one on medowdale blvd at the site of a former bradless store, & there was one at crossroads mall in roanoke va where a k-mart is right now.

oh if anyone who wants to know where that walmart & kroger are it's on route 1 north about 2 - 3 miles from virgina centre commons mall in ashland va.

oh i know where one was in virginia it was at roanoke va's tanglewood mall along with super x drugstores, they redid it a few years ago to just a regular kroger store.
