There was a Naugles in Huntington Beach in the 70s, it was om Brookhurst st. and Yorktown I believe. I used to work in that area, a long time ago. I dont know what happened to that Naugles after it changed ownership.

There was a Sizzler in the Whittier/Santa Fe Springs area of southern California. It was located on Telegraph Rd. It closed a few years ago, and then it was turned into an all u can eat place. There was a Van de Kamps in Anaheim, it was on harbor blvd. just down the street from Disneyland, I'm not sure if its still there or not.

I remember 2 locations in orange county..... 1) harbor blvd. & Lampson in Garden Grove. also in Santa Ana on Harbor blvd & Edinger. That was in the 70s when i was in high school. Also they had a catchy jingle on tv. pup and taco 29 cents and drive thru...

I remember a brand that the Ralphs Grocery store carried. It was called the plain wrap brand,the packaging on the products were white with a light blue stripe around the product. I do remember a Fazios store in Santa Ana Ca. it was on 17th street near tustin ave, and later it became an albertsons. I'm not sure what it is now. it was in a kinda odd location. Fazios was good store with a large selection of product. wow things sure have changed in orange county.

There is a Gottschalks store in the Antelope Valley, in Palmdale Ca. When i lived in palmdale i remember the store was always very slow, they also took over the harris store in the a.v. mall, it was like what macys has done to some of there stores, 2 different stores in the same mall.

There was a Leonards Dept. store in Garden Grove, it was on Harbor Blvd & Garden Grove Blvd. its now a grocery store of some type, i remember going there as a kid.

Good Topic. there was a pantry store in the city of Tustin. On Newport ave & walnut. I lived very close to it, and I'm not sure whats there now.

One of the first Mervyns stores to open in southern calif. was in Huntington Beach on Adams ave. & brookhurst. in a former Grants store. Across the street from Two Guys. This was around 1977.

There was a wards store in santa Ana. 17th st. & Bristol. across from Santa Ana JR. College. I remember as kid going there. my parents used to shop there often. That area has sure changed.

in santa ana on Grand ave & 17th street. A former zodys which turned into a ralphs/giant. now its a food 4 less.

There was a location in santa ana ca. at the fashion square. that center was replaced with an enclosed mall. the main place mall.
