I'm originally from Columbus - but I never made too many trips down to south Columbus, so my memory is a tad hazy. The picture of the store in Columbus was most certainly a Big Star...which I seem to recall later becoming a chain called 'South Star.' As I recall, the change happened in the mid-80s. ...

Okay. Where to begin. I live in Charleston, and have noticed all sorts of grocery architectural goodness here.
