Found some gems in Greensburg at the Shop N Save on 130 Hempfield twp. Wonderful photos!!! Reminds me of growing up in small towns and those tiny dime-store markets were what we had closest to us. And Sealtest Ice Cream!!! talk about a flash back making me feel old....lol Thank you for sharing those photos with us.

The Hills here never went to ames. they just closed up and eventually burlington moved in. There was an Ames behind Westmoreland mall that was a Zayre before that. As far as I know, from what I've heard, the Hills just shut down. I'm not entirely sure if this is true or not, I'm not quoting anyone. ...

Ok, Greensburg, PA, I found out that Davis Center on E. Pittsburgh St. was at one time a Davis Foods grocery, owned by old Mr. Davis. I was at K-mart in Latrobe, PA last night. Called Big-K with the swish under it, went to the cafe (no sign stating K-cafe like old days) but they had signs for the food, nachos, Nathan's hot dogs, pizza, signs looked older than me (31)...the popcorn smell is still there when you walk in the front do...
