I remember Nichols in Lumberton, NC. I think it came into being about 1973, to about 1990. One that was still open in Oct. 2009 is in Madison, VA along US 29, pictured from a trip coming back from Charlottesville. Needed a wider angled lens camera, to have gotten much better of a shot I would have been in the road.
