We had a former LaBelle's store that became Best in Mesa, AZ in the late 1980's (now a Bed, Bath, & Beyond. Service Merchandise was on the other side of the street. It is now closed although the exterior signage reamins intact.

I used to go to Stater Bros. as a kid in Riverside and I think they were in Orange County as well at that time (1990 ish).

Does anyone know the relationship between Skaggs Cash Stores and Skaggs United Stores? In the Sacramento section on this site it mentions Skaggs Cash as the Safeway predecessor, but the ASC version has it as Skaggs United. Were these chains merged together at some point?

In an early episode of Friends (season 2 I think), Lady Lee (Lucky) milk is featured during an informercial in which Joey is trying to open a carton of milk. I always loved that since the show was set in New York.
